Tomato Paste Portfolio & Technical Specifications
Double concentrated tomato paste has a Brix of 28–30%, an acidity in the 4.2–4.6 pH range and a pronounced colour intensity with an a/b ratio ≥ 2.0; dry matter content is standardised at 28% ± 1. Suited to a wide range of uses such as canning, sauces, ready meals and industrial food production, it is packed in 220 kg aseptic bags or tins from 800 g to 5 kg.
Triple concentrated tomato paste offers a high consistency with a Brix of 36–38% and dry matter of 36% ± 1; its strong colour profile with an a/b ratio ≥ 2.1 makes it the preferred choice in industrial production, ketchup and various sauce manufacturing. Requiring less shipping volume and delivering high flavour and colour intensity are its key advantages. Packaging formats are 220 kg aseptic drums or bulk container systems.
Organic tomato paste is produced from raw materials grown on certified organic farmland and offers standard quality at a Brix of 28–30%. Verified by EU Organic and USDA Organic certificates, the product suits retail and private label projects. Packaging options are 720 ml glass jars and 800 g tins.
The industrial derivatives group comprises tomato purée at 12–14% Brix, tomato pastes known as paste mixes, sterilised powdered tomato and tomato pomace recovered as a by-product. This pomace can be used as an animal feed additive or in various industrial applications; the group provides versatile processing inputs for the food industry.
Tomato paste production begins with processing fresh tomatoes at a capacity of 1,000–1,500 tonnes per day. Concentration takes place under vacuum at low temperature in evaporator systems, achieving 85–90% efficiency. Aseptic filling into 220 kg bags is carried out by automated systems in a sterile environment, while pasteurisation is applied at 90–95°C for 15–20 seconds to ensure microbial safety. Every production batch undergoes Brix, colour, pH and microbiological analyses to assure quality. All production processes are run in compliance with international standards under ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, Halal and Kosher certifications.
For industrial use, the packaging and logistics setup offers the 220 kg aseptic bag-in-drum format with long shelf life and sterile production, while 800 g–5 kg tins with various labelling options provide a flexible solution for retail and HORECA. In the premium segment, 500–1,000 g glass jars create high shelf visibility and quality perception for private label projects. For high-volume operations, bulk container shipments are preferred, forming a cost-effective logistics model suited to industrial applications.
Under our sustainability and traceability approach, the tomato raw material is grown under long-term production agreements with local farmers using water-saving drip irrigation. Evaporation systems with energy recovery are used in production, and packaging is made from recyclable materials. A batch-level full traceability system applied to every shipment keeps the entire process — from field to processing line to finished product — transparent and controllable.
