Pasta Portfolio & Technical Specifications

The classic pasta group covers a wide range of shapes such as spaghetti, penne, fusilli, farfalle, rigatoni and macaroni, with a uniform appearance thanks to a high yellowness index (b* ≥ 24). Standing out for excellent cooking resistance, low stickiness and ≤ 7% cooking loss, the products are held at ≤ 12.5% moisture and 12–13% protein. Packaging options include 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and bulk industrial formats.

In the value-added category, wholewheat pasta offers high fibre content and a low glycaemic index, while egg pasta stands apart with its rich aromatic profile and golden colour. Vegetable pasta varieties are coloured naturally with spinach, beetroot, carrot and tomato derivatives. Protein-enriched pasta, aimed at the sports and diet segment, features special formulations with enhanced nutritional value.

Pasta developed for industrial users performs strongly in functional areas such as catering, ready meals and frozen food production. Short cooking-time formulations for the instant or ready-to-eat segment deliver operational efficiency. Packaging options are offered in 20 kg kraft bags, 1,000 kg big-bags and bulk container formats, meeting high-volume supply needs.

Pasta is made with 100% durum wheat semolina, giving a quality structure and a high protein profile. A vacuum extrusion system produces uniform colour and texture, while low-temperature drying at 55–65°C helps preserve nutritional value. The production line is screened for foreign matter with optical sorting and metal detection systems. Comprehensive laboratory analyses — protein, colour, moisture and cooking tests — are carried out for every batch, and ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, Halal and Kosher certifications apply throughout the process.

The packaging and logistics setup for pasta starts in the retail segment with 500 g–1 kg consumer packs covering shapes such as spaghetti and penne. Durable 5 kg packs for the HORECA channel provide ideal solutions for catering and restaurants, while industrial options in 20 kg bags and 1,000 kg big-bags give food manufacturers bulk convenience. For larger operations, bulk container shipments are used, delivering high efficiency for mass export in OEM production or brand supply.

The sustainability and food-safety approach in pasta production starts with non-GMO durum wheat sources, and environmental impact is minimised through energy-efficient production lines. Reducing water consumption and applying recyclable packaging policies bring a significant advantage in resource management, while operating the facilities in line with ISO 14001 environmental management standards secures environmental performance. An unbroken traceability system from production to delivery guarantees quality and safety at every stage of the supply chain.
